A Energy's first NCS asset transaction was accomplished 9 February 2012. A Energy was sole financial advisor for North Energy ASA in connection with the company's sale of its 12.0% interest in PL 433 to Centrica Energy for a consideration of NOKm 70. PL 433 contains the Fogelberg gas and condensate discovery which was made in spring 2010. Centrica is the operator for PL 433 and through this transaction the company increases its interest in the license from 28.0 to 40.0%. The Fogelberg discovery contains between 37 mmboe (NPD) and 68 mmboe (Centrica) of gross gas and condensate resources of which gas constitutes close to 90%. The discovery will most likley be developed as a subsea tie-back to Åsgard or Heidrun, and production start-up may be around 2020 depending on available gas transport capacity.
